Lord Howe Island... The start to our beautiful life..

Our AMAZING suite!!

So he really had me guessing the whole time.. After three years of dating he finally popped the question! I was in TOTAL shock. So a couple months before it all happened, Jeff had been talking a lot about taking a trip just him and I. I needed to see if I could get the time off work of course, but in every way I wanted to go. We juggled some ideas for places to visit, of course the exotic Fiji or maybe Hawaii, but after all the contemplating we decided to go to Australia. Jeff surprised me by picking a resort called, Arajilla located on Lord Howe Island. We stayed in the beautiful "Kentia Suites".. It was amazing! The rooms came with everything you could think of including a 3 course meal for dinner and amenities for the perfect island get away!
   So after we arrived on our first day and got settled, we decided to go check out what was around and found a gorgeous secret spot on the side of the island by a waterfall pouring into a fresh-water pool. We sat there for most of the night and talked about how far our relationship had come..
Anyways, the rest of the trip was just as amazing as the first night, and on the last night we revisited the waterfall with our little picnic basket that we had put together earlier that day.. We sat and talked and talked.. Just as we were about leave it happened.
Jeff told me too look up at the stars, and think about everything I wanted out of life, and by the time I looked back down Jeff was staring up at me from one knee. He then asked me, "Megan, we met out of chance, and chance turned into destiny and I couldn't picture my life without you in it.. Please take this ring and be my wife forever. I love you Megan." and well of course.... I said yes <3
